Grow Greater New Bedford wants to bring fresh produce closer to people's homes, teach gardening and engage the community in environmentally sustainable, nutritious food systems for all. Our goal is to do this by installing raised or elevated beds throughout the Greater New Bedford area, putting fresh produce in backyards across the South Coast. Thanks to the YMCA of Dartmouth's Share the Harvest Farm, our gardens come complete with plants ready to grow. Grow Greater New Bedford’s staff Horticulturist provides mentoring for those who need help with basic gardening techniques as well as identifying any issues you have during the season.
